    Default Oregon Lighthouse

After I used Polar coordinates, I flipped the image and added a texture background outside the globe part. I added the bkgd after the flip because I did not want the entire image symmetrical. Then I used Glamor Glow from Nik Effex Pro 4.

I like the composition and the colors. Putting it on a background that doesn't have the mini world treatment was a great touch. I really like the contrast between the symmetry of the lighthouse portion and the lack of symmetry in the background. Having the image dark at the bottom helps to ground it. Very nicely done.

Nancy, I like the way you added the background! Awesome look! I also agree that a little more room on top is nice. I might take a small sliver off the top if it were mine.

Hi, Nancy, I think using a different background was a great idea! I agree with Denise that just a little off of the top would be nice.

Thanks, all! The original bkgd was a very dull gray sky so I just had to do something more dynamic. Good suggestion to take a bit off the top. This min-world creation is a lot of fun. I like the fun of seeing just what the polar coordinates grab and create.
