Default Autumn Greater Yellowlegs - Full Reflection

I got lucky as this yellowlegs offered more than one strecth during my session with it. This one was taken a few minutes before the previous post, and it was in even better colour and water as the lower part was clear enough to include the full reflection. I like it even better than the other and not sure why I did not process it first!

Canon 7D + 100-400L @400mm, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1000s., f/6.3, ISO 800 (settings histogram checked), handheld, a few specks in the water patched out, cropped for composition.

Beautiful image Daniel! I like the stretching pose, sharpness, reflection, composition and sweet BG.

Nice fall shot Daniel. Like the motion with the legs and the BG. Very sharp. The one water drop on his foot adds to it.

    Daniel:

Very nice pose with reflection, colors very nice, seems to have a bit more midrange punch than the last one. Good shooting angle.

    Well done.

    Cheers

The colors on this really make it stand out, Daniel. Nice to see interesting behavior as well. Amazing how the FG & BG blend so nicely.

Lovely and well-balanced image. I can only reiterate what everyone else has said, especially w/ regard to the background. When you have a backdrop like that, I say flaunt it.

The BG colours and the pose of the bird make this image for me . The reflection just adds to the aura !!

Just have to love that water color and calmness!
This is lovely and I do enjoy the full reflection. Still,
the bird's side profile was more appealing in the last
image versus this one. It also featured a better head
    angle imo...

Great stretch, reflection, HA, surrounding colors etc. Lovely. The water drops on the toes make it for me.
