    Here's another from the weekend, this time a Turnstone. Again a very confiding bird, hope you like it.



    Canon 7D + Canon 500mm F4 IS + 1.4 - 1/1000s ISO 400 F5.6

    Yes, these guys can be quite tame and make for great subjects. Love the subtle head turn, good exposure, nice details. I could see a version with bit more room below, and perhaps a slight warming of the WB.

    Hey Carl, nice detail and exposure. I would also like to see a little more room on the bottom and just a tad of CW rotation

    beautiful image of this handsome shore bird. I like the pose, exp and details. would add room at the bottom for virtual feet and subtract from the top
