    Another shot from my garden pond, the weather has turned much cooler now, I will be lucky to get any more dragonflies now until next year.
    Sometimes you get the wings just where you want them, sometimes you don't.....

    Hi Jon. I love the beautiful light on this one! You also have excellent sharpness on the dragonfly and stem - all set against a clean background. I might suggest cropping a little from the right, but that's pretty subjective. The wings perhaps aren't in the "best" possible position, but this is a very strong image nevertheless!

    This wonderful of image of your's inspired me to take some pictures of Dragonfly today morning.
    Love the super sharp details in beautiful colors. very nice lights.Nice composition and smooth BG too.

    Nice clean shot and perfect BG. Too bad about the wings (like you said) would have made this good photo an amazing one.
