Beautiful image Grace! I like the walking pose, low angle, exposure, sharpness, BG and composition.

Just outstanding, Grace! Love those upturned toes, that sweet light, the angle of the bird toward us.

Elegant walking pose with some really nice character in the forward foot. Such a cute
shorebird. Really, the only improvement that I could envision here is to have the bird
a bit further into the frame so as to include the entire shadow.

Striking image, Grace. Love the low angle presentation and the nice clean beach. Light, HA are perfect and I like the slightly raised foot.

The previous commentators have stolen my thunder: I too appreciate your plover's pose and your skillful handling of the light and the details. Angle is low but could be lower.

Cute, and of course the rising foot adds an interesting element. Good details, nicely exposed. I know it is minor, but that tiny bright speck on the white feathers could be a candidate for removal - my eye keeps going to it, but it could be me.

Lovely image. Great light and like the upturned toes!
I also noticed that bright white spec on the feathers and would evict it,

One of my favorite little guys! Love that he appears to be strutting with great conviction. Great clean background.
