    Hi Robert, how are those eyes - who is surprised to see who. Good detail on the little guy, and I like how the owlet is popping up from behind the FG. If anything, I would remove the faint catchlights at the bottom of each eye. Well captured.

    sweet! love the intense eye contact and perfect light angle with no shadows in the pupil! would consider cropping from the bottom! well done

    Very nice capture! Great light, nice detail. I would also consider burning and cropping from the bottom.

    Wonderful moment, eyes are really exceptional; I too would remove from bottom and burn down a wee bit.

    Nice job on the repost, Robert. What a great headshot of this burrowing owl. That's about as wide eyed as an owl can get! Excellent exposure, sharpness, and detail.

    Repost looks better. Nice BG on this one with the green and gray. Always enjoy seeing shots of these guys with the small pupils of brighter light.
