    Crittiques? this is a gorgeous bird and killer portrait! very good exposure on both darks and whites. Blue sky and orange on beak makes a great combination for this one.

    Hi Mike, excellent exposure, and a great close up to see the colours and patterns around the eye. Different to see a bill full of grass than a bill full of fish.

    WOW Mike! The IQ and detail and amazing.
    I don't think you could get any closer! The eye is so clear and sharp.
    I like the dry grasses in the beak and I would evict the slightly OOF vertical grasses at the far right .

    Really excellent full frame image sir.
    Love the light quality and the grasses in the bill.

    Great portrait shot, Mike. The details are pretty grea in both light and dark part of the bird.
    The Eye is showing very nice too.
