Surely you jest. This is too, too good. Sharp, wonderful light and BKGR. The detail on the dorsal surface of the far wing is incredible. Wish that we could see more of the near-wing. Lightening the black eye mask would make the eye itself more visible. All in all, astounding. Is this a crop?

I am glad that guste.La I usually do not trim a lot, but in this case if, 50%. how i will have to clear the black layer of the face of pajaro.? select the zone and with the levels to clarify it? the curves in this zone? Thanks for the commentaries.
Simply beautiful. The colours are out of this world!! Although I love the OOF flowers I would probably get rid of the two bright ones just ahead of the bill. Congratulations on a wonderful photograph :-)
holy crap!!!! this background is beyond beautiful and seems to mirror the beauty of the bird. i just wish for a slightly different wing position on that close wing. Black mask doesn't bother me.
Hola Juan, un trabajo maravilloso! Marvelous work!
What Artie means is selecting the black part of the face mask and lifting the back in curves to separate the eye.
I did that, selected it with the magic wand, used curves, the erased the part of the bill that got selected.
I also softened the flowers with the clone stamp at 50%.
I see a very faint sharpening halo around the bill.
Gorgeous bird and background, you should be very proud of this one!
Unbelieveable! Love it! I worked on the eye in the following way -
zoom tool, zooming in tight on the eye ,
lasso tool, lasso the eye only,
brightness and contrast layer, brightening the eye about +80 or whatever looks good,
clone tool, clone in a little whitish from the light area below the black mask.
All's been said about this image, the detail is quite amazing. The depth of field worked very well to make the whole bird sharp, and selectively blurring the background helped to make the image "pop" further. Great one:)
