    Another one from Rose Garden in Portland, OR... used 5D MK3 and 100mm Macro. My preference would have been to get both the wings but couldn't get a clear shot before it flew away! For processing, I rotated the image and cropped just a bit. Then, used new Topaz Simplify (it's really awesome!) with modified setting and used a mask to get back the bee. Sharpened the final web version. Hope you like it...

    I like the look you were going for here. Soft and dreamy. The bee stands out nicely from the flower.

    Indranil, I love the colors and soft look of the rose combined with the sharper bee (especially the wings).

    Great composition with the petals surrounding and nearly overwhelming the bee. I like the contrast of the sharper bee and flower anthers vs the softer petals. I might try a version a bit less saturated with the red.
