Flat light helped to get handled the contrast nicely.

Hi Andreas - Nice portrait of the impala. Detail and sharpness look good but I am going to point out a minor problem that I have never seen in one of your images before. There's a slight blue cast to the blacks, particularly in the area on the top of the head and the eyes.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Lovely soft light and details here Andreas. A most elegant species often overlooked as photographic subjects because of their sheer numbers .
Repost colour is better, I would rotate it CW so that eyes and ears are "level"

Hi Andreas, i love the simplicity of this and quite often that is the hardest part to achieve.

Good spot by Rachel, she keeps us on our toes these days. Nice detail & sharpness, however I feel that a slight adjustment in Levels (adjusting both L & R sliders) to give a little more punch and have added some depth to the coat/fur of the subject as the overall colour look a little thin, WDYT? Also took the liberty of Morkels suggestion of a slight rotation too.

Thanks for RP, you surely improved it.
The only thing is the blacks look a tad choked now.
But the colors came more to life.

Totally agree Andreas, the 5 points was probably a tad too much, but you get the gist.

Great pose and sharpness Andreas. Nice processing work and take it up a notch with a slight rotation.
