    Default Northern Cardinal - ENP

Caught this guy before sunset at Anhinga Trail. Only saw 2 birds out there a painted bunting (male) and this guy. In any event, need advice here.

I already cropped this image on the left to eliminate the oof tree. I'm mixed about the green on the bottom. I like it for balance, but the oof irks me.

Also, should I simply crop or clone out most of the oof tree on the left? ( i thought i'd have enough dof at f/7.1 ... oh well...)

Here's my take on it, Michael. Hope you don't mind my tinkering.

I like the crop and could even go a little more Ideally would like to see the bird framed in the lower left corner btw I like that you are taking advantage of the auto ISO mode Mike !!!!

I like the repost too Mike. You might try to desaturate the red some to get some of the detail back into the breast. I know they are blazing red right now, but give it a try.

    Hi Michael,
I'll go with Robert A...........but think color wheel.......add green to bird............opposite of red so may bring out detail without desaturation.............worth a shot,

    Hi Michael,
I like the repost; mighty fine looking bird, but need to tone down the reds a little..
    All in all, good job...:D
