    Not as colorful as their Pacific counterparts, but still a fine looking bird.

    Ah, the preening scissors image well done. Head angle 99,78% perfect. Would like to see the head tilted just a tad more away from you; that would give us a straight-in look at the eye and the pupil. Light spectacular, BKGR a bit problematic.

    I like this pose, I agree the bg is a bit problematic, esp lower right.

    lovely details of the bird. the BG looks bit strange especially just behind & back of the head...

    The compositon and your subject is absolutely mind-blowing. Not keen on the BG either though.

    I like your image the way it is...for my taste...:D:D:D
    Great details on your subject tack sharp and great eye contact...:) The composition is very nice. The bold tones in the background adds character to Mr. Pelican...:cool:
