Hi Roger - I like this a lot. The subtle layers of color and depth work very well. Nicely done.

Hi Roger, I really like the very saturated, warm look to this, conveys a nice end to the day.

Firstly I feel having the subject walking away from you is not ideal, however it does convey a feeling of walking into the sunset. Also, if it were possible, shooting from a lower angle may have avoided the head intersecting with the horizon as you would be looking up? 'Visually', I wonder if it needs just a slight CCW rotation, by eye, not line or ruler and a little more space to the right would perhaps have helped. Is the red FG as is, or lightened, if lightened then perhaps being slightly darker may again help, but no deal breaker. I think some slight NR to the middle section could also be applied.

Finally Roger, there is a small black line on the LH trim edge in the middle, not sure what it is?

This capture is really working for me, Roger. I love the fact that the giraffes are walking toward the sunset. It's a unique perspective. The comp works extremely well and I am liking the setting sun in between your 2 subjects. I see Steve's point about the horizon intersection with the one girafe but it must not have detracted b/c I didn't notice it until I read his post. I would be very happy about this image.

    Hi Roger,
like this warm colored riding in the sunset feeling you captured here.
Colors beautifully rendered, with good contrast throughout the image.
Like the layered effect from FG to BG with different colors and tones, nicely done.Only thing is, i would run NR on the middle section where i can see both, C+L noise.

Nicely composed , i do not mind the intersection of the one head with the horizon, maybe it was possible to avoid, if so , it would have been even a better image.

    A very moody image, Roger.
I love that the sun sits right between the 2 heads.
Agree with the NR in the middle.
I wonder if it would benefit the image by toning down some of the red in the grasses in the FG?

Nice mood shot Roger. I really like the layering you achieved in the landscape leading to the sky.
