    The comp, IQ and detail are stunning.
    Love the light and the eye and nice clean beak.
    Like the blue sheen in some of the feathers as well.

    A wonderful portrait that evokes a handsome and proud old warrior -- it makes me think of an Indian chief. But maybe it's a female? That's OK -- the chief's wife probably ruled the roost anyway...

    Stunning portrait. I'd love to get one this close of a raven, but they're just too smart and elusive (and uncommon) around here. I love the detail you have captured, the textures, and that lovely background, Dan.

    Fantastic details, great looking blacks, and the BG is quite appealing. Only a better HA could have improved this portrait.
