Would love feedback on this photo. Composition in particular. Does it work with the big empty area? Is the composition breaking rules (rules of thirds etc) too much?I have cropped photo in bottom, removing area of stones from there.

    Hi Mat

I am afraid the 'big empty space' as you put it does not work for me. I love the bottom and top thirds, but the middle I don't think should be there because it lacks interest to me. Would it have been possible to get lower? If so then this would increase the foreground content, reduced the middle and maybe even added a bit of reflection into the water surface, and raised the image a notch or to IMHO. tech's look good although a bit of contrast enhancement might add a bit more life into the cloud and image generally... The rock(s) looks too good to crop for me..
