    Default Wood Duck Female

This female woodie was photographed at a pond at our local zoo. The water was particularly stunning that day. Even though it's the male wood ducks that get all the attention, I think the females are stunning in their own right.

    That they are Doug !!!!

Fully agree on the water and the girl looks mighty fine !!!! Would only take a bit from the top Was thinking on cropping out the reflection but it would cut the head (that you can see) Beautiful head angle, sharp and well exposed !!! I like it a lot !!!

Very nice composition. Perhaps a touch more room at the rear? I would also prefer the level look, but that would not show the water effect that you are describing, so for that it is a nice perspective.

Wonderful, and yes, the water is killer. Would like to see it a hair lighter. COMP and EXP perfect.
