Rumors of my abduction are grossly exaggerated.

This little grebe was captured at Bolsa Chica and this rendition is not far from the original. Just a little softening and graduated fog from Nik.

"not far from the original" ----sometimes Nature just says it all, doesn't it. Peaceful, soft. I like the way the movement is shown....waves in the background but a clear reflection of the bird in the smooth water in front. Good eye contact

I absolutely love this. For me the composition, processing, and mood of this shot are impeccable. If I had to make any suggestion at all, it would be to tone down the saturation of the eye just a touch. It seems just a tad strong in relation to the soft feel of the rest of the shot.

I love the composition and processing. The addition of fog was a nice touch. I agree about the eye, it seems a bit bright compared to the rest of the image.

Love this one Kerry, really nice work. It's dreamy and beautiful. I might take a slice off the bottom if it were mine.
