    This was a grab shot as we drove along the road to Sossusvlei in the early morning. It was also extremely windy with a very cold, easterly wind blowing.

    Canon 5D3
    16-35 II @ 35mm
    1/500
    f8
    ISO 400
    HH, CP used, cropped to pano, luminosity mask, levels, curves, LCE, selective color adjustments, Hougaard Malan action and sharpened in CS5.

    Classic. Classy. Love it. I wouldn't even touch the dark shadow on the dune as the contrast adds a nice edge to the scene.

    great pano shot :) like the contrast......man those tree's look soooo close but man its a loooong walk

    Hi Rachel,
    I like the pano image you have shared with us and it creates a need for me to head to Sossusvlei soon. It has been too long since I was last there. I agree with Andrew, those trees are far and a good walk away.
