I launched a "BIG" online anti-poaching campaign with this image and the story attached to it ! I do not know what the end result will be, but I have "spammed" about 500 internet sites (of which many will not mind, I hope) with the pic and story... My wife thought I was surfing porn cause it took about 3 hours...

    The truth is...

    Canon EOS 7D
    Focal Length 500mm
    Shutter Speed 1/640 sec
    Aperture f/4
    ISO/Film 100

I had 2 cameras at my disposal, but the time was to cramped to get a wider shot on this... had to settle for the lens in hand... Eish, the tip of that second horn...

Hi Rudi, firstly it does have an embedded profile Andreas.

As an image I like the endearing composition, however clipping the horn is a big negative for me and if the story is about the saving and protection of the Rhino, ultimately it's horn, then it's a non starter for me. Difficult I know in the rush of the moment & looking through the viewfinder it can be difficult, but I would look at addressing the blade of vertical grass. You have got good detail considering the DOF and sharpness, like the warmth overall in the image.

You know I like this, Rudi. Exquisite light and detail and a great tender moment from beasts who normally have their "heads in the grass"...
Steve does have a point about the horn included being a strong seller for the message behind the image...
