    I like it John !!! Might even go tighter at the bottom I like the angle showing the eggs Looks like you will have some fun in the next weeks to come !!!! btw would try getting the head more parallel to the sensor plane I like this a lot !!!

    Well done but for the need for a better head angle. Image quality (noise) looks suspect esp. w/ISO 100; did you need to lighten this a bunch? Love the eggs.

    Man that eye looks quite evil!! I like the fresh greenery on the nest. Might consider a wider aperture in order to blur out more the OOF stuff in the BG.

    Very nice. Saturation seems a bit strong and I think I see a halo around image elements caused perhaps by jpeg anomalies.

    Thanks Art, looking more closely I think I've over sharpened here. Exposure was pretty much spot on.

    A lovely, intimate image, John, but I would prefer a little more depth of field so that more of the bird's body and the nest are in sharp focus. Colours and saturation are fine on my screen.

    I think your flotting hide offers the best angle for this capture (not too high and not too low). The morning light and the right timing are the key of success here. However, I'd prefer a front focus (slightly) to get all the eggs in focus.
