Vivaldo, lovely light and detail. The curled up wingtips is quite a nice touch to an already stunning image. I'm not 100% on board with the branch on the left. Seems a bit too low for it to be the take-off point, so I'm not sure that it's relevant.

Thanks Cheryl and Miguel. The pied did take off from this perch Miguel and IMO it should be included. It's an interesting comment, would love to here from others on what they prefer.

Awesome pose, sweet light, and nice BG. I think including the perch is appropriate, as the bird appears to have just lifted off.

Great action and timing. Sharp where it needs to be. I see quite a bit of chromatic aberration around the bird's head (magenta) and greenish at the other side. This can be corrected.

    Vivaldo:

Great timing, sense of action, neutral background. I personally would include the perch, even a sliver more if you have it, and a little more room to the right as well.

    Great pose.

    Cheers

Awesome dynamic image, Vivaldo. Beautiful BG, great angle of the bird, wing position, and I would say a definite yes on perch inclusion.

I love, love, love the image design as posted. The BKGR is killer as is the pose. As John Chardine noted, the face looks a bit funky.... On 2nd look a bit more of the perch would work for me as well, but overall I love this one. Did I forget to mention the spectacular pose?

Hi Vivaldo, very well timed, great take off pose, and against that lovely early morning Mankwe BG.
