Snowy Egret from JBWR a few weeks ago. I liked the pose on this one. Slight crop and rotation.

Marvelous image Sir,I like the beautiful composition and the way he has put his leg ahead.
Love the wing pose, great details in whites, water droplets above the blues on green background and soft lights.

Quite a lovely capture, Bill. Love the wings up, the water splash and your whites look right on the money.

As above, this is very nicely done. The only problem is that the bill is somewhat lost in the dark BKGR, especially the distal half.

Hi Bill, the whites of the egret pop so well from the darker BG, and well timed to capture the raised wings. The splashing droplets add interest, and his eyes are certainly on his next meal.

Thank you everyone. Artie, I agree about the bill. I considered trying to selectively lighten the background in that area, but thought better of it, for fear it would look unnatural.

LOL, love the pose captured, very well exposed, pops out nicely against the darker BG. Super shot.
