    Another from the San Diego "vacation" collection. I had 2 shots I was going back and forth on, but I decided this was better. A little too much crop, but I like the action with catch of a the little plover.

    Canon 7D, 500mm, F4, 1/1600, iso 400, manual exposure. C&C appreciated. Thanks for looking.

    Neil,great shot.The bird is well composed and sharp.The prey adds a lot of value to it.TFS

    Very nice capture. Looks a bit dark to me, so I would consider lightening up the shadows.
