    Amazing details, Jonathan, and how awesome to be able to capture it laying eggs. It appears as though image needs a little bit of CCW rotation.

    Hi Jon, like the detail, might try compressing the Levels histogram, see what 2, 1.00, 230 looks like, bit more 'pop'?

    A dandy behavior shot with a nice low angle. A crop from right and bottom may be another option.
