Very nice capture Satish. Clean BG and nice HA. Maybe just a tad over-sharpened??

    Satish:

Excellent look back pose, good comp and I think the framing helped handle the large perch and kept it from being overpowering.

I agree with Sanjeev, perhaps a tad oversharpened. For my personal taste, the background is a little too smooth. Almost feels a bit artificial. Depends on the distance from the subject of course, but perhaps back off on the NR just a bit.

    Cheers

Both images look good to me, these guys have some pretty funny plumage and some times it tends to look over sharpened. Well, I am talking about the green heron which is in the same family of your heron but with different colours.

Like the look-back pose, the pastel colours on BG and light. I wish for a 3:2 ratio image but I guess this one works fine too. Keep them coming man!

Yes, repost looks better to my eye too. Neat plumage, looks well coiffed and this pose shows the back plumes very nicely. I'd love to see more below for two reasons: 1) more clearance for the round spot almost touching the edge, and 2) I find the thinner part of the perch at right too thin. Doubling the amount of the thinnest part would be good IMO.
