    Default Spoonies on my mind!

Haven't been in Avian in a while as I have been super busy. Headed to San Francisco for the PSA conference and then off to Yellowstone on one of my tours. Haven't been doing many birds lately but worked on a few in preperation for my 5 tours (3 with days on the Hooptie Deaux) down to Florida! Spoonies are fast becoming my favorites and my group spends at least 2 days with James on each trip! I am working on more! I love the contrast of the bright Spoonies against the dark BG's!

Spoonbills are not my favorite photos - maybe because I see so many bad photographs of them. This one looks great with the dark background and exposure looks good. Love the drips of water.

    Roman:

Really nice 'pop' here with good separation from the BG. Good pose, like the drips.

Crop is a little tight , but expected!

    Nice exposure.

    Cheers

Great light really makes the spoonie pop against the mangroves. Great flight position.

Great dynamic flight pose, Roman! Super exposure, detail, water drops, and contrast with the background.
Makes me want to be back out on the banks there.
