    While some people don't care for these geese I think that they are quite pretty. Plus, I have better luck photographing large, slow flying birds than small fast ones. ;)

    1/800, f5.6, ISO400 (AV mode + 1/3)
    1Dmk2n, 500 + 1.4tc + tripod

    I agree with you on these birds being attractive Grace. Maybe if they weren't so common and made such a mess everywhere they go, they'd be a bit more popular? I like the wing position and the color of the BG. I also think it's neat how you captured what looks to be the reflection off the water on the underside of the wing but I'm not sure if it detracts or adds to the image.

    Very nice light and wings, the beak open is a nice plus. The exposure looks on the money. Good capture!

    I like geese and this image as well. I would crop about 1/2 of the reflection off the bottom and might work a bit on the light stuff on the upper frame edge in front of the bird. Perfect COMP, EXP, and SHRPNSS.

    I personally dig these Geese. I can also relate to your comments on large and slow moving. Nicely done.
