Apt title. Mottled body colours are very interesting as are those chrome coloured eyes! Great BKGD and perfect DOF keeps me focused on the head. Awesome shot.

Very well done on this happy looking creature. Straight out of a scifi movie. Excellent quality and I really like the composition.

I like the composition and the colours look very unusual, a very eye catching image. You have excellent focus and fine detail. Is the background sky??

Killer image and what works best is your composition the way the insect comes out of the left side of the frame and his head is peering right at the viewer from the center but with a cocked head. The colors work very well together and the head is sharp where it needs to be.

Very good Mantis portrait. They are difficult to frame well due to their long body and I like diagonal and cropping you did here. Was this in full sun?
