    Default American Robin

Here's one more from my primary birding place,JBWR.Took this in early june when infact I was pointing my lens towards a Lazy Brown Trasher, this guy makes a short and quick visit.I took few shots of him and realized later that he had a berry in his beaks.

    D300S,300mm f 2.8,1/1250s,F/4,ISO-640,Manual With Monopod and Ballhead.

    C & C appreciated.Thanks

    Sanjeeve,
Excellent image.Beautiful bird with nice look back pose.I like the green leaves.Berry is bonus point.
I would tone down bird, perch and white spot.It is looking too bright on my monitor, also white spots.
Little bit off the bottom (till the tip second leaf)will be great.

    Regards,
    Satish.

Sanjeev - great colors and detail. The 'look-back' pose is great for this. And like Satish mentioned, the berry is a plus! I might take a look at a tighter crop and remove all the leaves. You might then need to add a bit of room to the top to balance the image better, but it might we worth a shot.

Hi Sanjeev, good lookback pose proudly showing off his berry. Im fine with the comp as is, but can see a tighter crop too. If you leave your OP as is, I would maybe tone down the colours in the BG a touch.

Agree with the above, the bird looks too light on my screen and a little burnt out on the whites. I like the perch and would leave the leaves but would clone out the part leaves at the top and side just leaving the whole ones, The white patches in the BG could be a little smaller by some cloning. Overall I woukld tone down the brightness and tweak the exposure.

Love the pose and berry. As others have pointed out, the branch is a bit hot and the background a little distracting. Overall a very good image.

Sanjeev, I really like your repost, really brings more attention to the bird and makes angle look not so steep.
