    Default Three strikes and your out at the Amphitheater

    Canon 10D, Tamron 17-35@35. Same image and processing shown in the earlier thread (http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ead.php/102538), but the extra lightening strikes captured in two different frames. After all my work learning how to blend elements from one image into another, I'm not sure I like the result any better than the single strike image. But, I'm glad to know how to do the blending.

    This image may be a bit crusty. I downsized from a file used to make a12x18" print.

    Hi Douglas , interesting result you have achieved :) I am bothered by the leveling of the image. Maybe needs some counter clockwise rotation and touch less green :) TFS

    That's pretty cool looking and the blending looks natural. I would suggest either more contrast or Local Contrast Enhancement, or perhaps both.
