    This is a Red Shouldered Hawk with its chick. The image was created here in Bonita Springs. Notice the color of the eyes between the chick and the adult.

    Very cute image, and I like the said colour variation between the two. The woven basket made this image belong to the "captive and hand of man" forum, hence the move to it's new home ;-)

    I adore the parent/chick in this one......great comparison. The basket is certainly an interesting addition......do you know what the circumstances were for it being used.

    Lana the nest had fallen out of the tree and 2 chicks died, the basket was hung in the tree and the remaining chick was put in it and both parents are feeding it there.Rod
