    Default A Rainy Day Hummer

    I made this image today in the rain. Due to time constraints, it's been a while since I had a chance to photograph hummers in my back yard.

    Vertical cropped from horizontal. 1DMK4 with 500 F4 at F 4.5 1/2000 - 3/4 EV ISO 1600. Flash with BB at flash EV -1. A few errant rain drop streaks cloned out. Thanks for looking.

    Very nice. I like the arrangement of the flowers. Nice green BG too. I'd love to have seen the subject and flowers higher in the frame at this aspect ratio, or cropping some off the top.

    Nice capture. I agree with Daniel that trimming some negative space off the top would improve the composition.
