This was some big forest spider with a large web across the trail. Took a few photos and skirted around.

Used topaz simplify, Nik effex pro cross balance tungsten, PS color gradient, and several tweaks with PS adjustments.

Very nice, Nancy. I like the contrast here... feels like the spider is being overwhelmed by the approaching fog. Nice simplify effect.

Nancy, the Topaz created an interesting effect on the web. Very OOTB thinking

    Nice image and application, Nancy.

Like the effect. I might have cropped a little off the top to give him the apearance of having an area to move into. But Y.I.Y.V.

I've set up a new page on Facebook with my images www.facebook.com/NaturesVisions. You may enjoy a few of them, if you care to wonder by.

Nancy, Cool idea to add some filtering ( I was sure you used Fractalius till I looked at your comments). Nice contrasting soft color tones. I might evict the halo line around the spiders back and ne leg if it were mine. Nice work and you continue to inspire me with your creativity.

Thanks everyone. Denise, I see that halo and will try to do something with it.

Nice contrasting colors. The processing makes it look almost like textured glass--very lovely.
