    Default Northern Harrier

I took this frame at the Bosque last November, but never got around to processing it. I fixed a little nicitating membrane issue and cleaned up a few spots in the BG. Looking forward to my upcoming Bosque workshop with Greg Basco and Keith Bauer!

    Doug:

Nice full downstroke, with angle in the frame which displays both the dorsal and ventral view of the wings well. Like the talons peaking out.

The background looks just a bit bright on my monitor, but I am not on my usual screen tonight.

The cropping works well with this pose.

    Cheers

Wonderful shot. Excellent head angle, I really like the background, and great comp.
    Well done.

Nice down wing pose, great sharpness and details, Doug. Bosque is pretty good for Harriers.

I agree that the background is a bit bright, but I quite like it!

Very nice head turn. I agree the background is too bright for me.
i wish the sun angle was better -- bird moving into the sun instead of sun behind.
    Still very nice.
Bosque would be great with you and Keith -- you guys did a great job with Flight (with Jim Neiger) last summer. But wish I was able to attend, but vacation this year is in France and Belgium - no long lens this time.
