    Photographed this juvenile in the outskirts of Homer (AK).As this was my first and so far last visit to AK , i was surprised how close i could get to this guy on foot.

    perhaps try and recover some of the blackest shadow detail under the belly?

    Great image, like the hair on the beak following his meal. THe eye contact with you is super and lovely exposure to get the most from the feathers,

    Looks great, although I would agree with Morkel about an attempt to recover some detail under the belly.

    Gorgeous and congrats on this fine image. The low angle, grassy setting, and great light are working well together.
