Excellent shorebird image. Simplified and concise composition.
Nice sense of subject movement. Perfect low angle.

Ilija, I see just a tiny bit of color cast on my monitor. I think the motion blur on the hind leg is OK, but I would have rather seen a faster shutter speed by cranking up the ISO. Also, the image could use a bit of selective sharpening on the head. It looks like the focus was on the coverts and not head.

Nice low shooting angle and eye contact.

Great low angle and good bg. Blurred rear leg gives some sense of motion. I agree the head is a tad softer than the coverts.

Quite the worn individual here, fun to see the differing plumages of shorebirds! Way to go on the low angle too. I'm OK with the blurred foot, but sometimes being able to fully freeze the movement gives a neat effect too (especially with water drops present). There is a small dust bunny and a larger round area, both under the bill near the water surface.

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions.
I'm OK with both selective blur and stopped action.
Matter of taste, I like both.
Dan, yes it is amazing how many variants of the plumage you can see this time of the year.
Thanks for pointing the dust bunny and the blob, missed both completely.
