    Default Lesser Yellowlegs

Taken in early morning fog at a sewage lagoon on the Oregon Coast of all places!
The fog actually helped make the bird pop a bit more from the BG.

Interesting, the full image looks much better than my first impression from
the thumbnail. I especially like the show of the feet, don't see them too often in these birds.

    Dan,

It is nice to see the whole bird including the feet of a yellowlegs especially having him looking up at you. And I love the habitat including the flowers and rocky shore.

I like this very much, Dan. The feet, the flowers, the rocks in the background. A most appealing image of this beautiful bird.

    Dan,

This is great the bird itself is wonderful, and considering where you were you have a "clean" background

Dan - the fog does help out with making the bird stand out. And I agree with everyone above, seeing the feet is 'refreshing' :) Nice image

Hi Dan, the thumbnail doesnt do this image justice. Im pleasantly surprised to see the bird pop so well from your BG, and what a BG you have there. Love the stately pose of the Yellowlegs, sharp with oodles of detail. I really like this lots.

Nice picture of the Lesser Yellowlegs, Dan. I aslo like the showing of the feet.
On my monitor there is a magenta cast showing of the entire picture.

I love the ruffled neck feathers here, and the erect pose. Yes, nice to see the feet. Neat pink flowers in ULC. You forgot to apply NR to the area between the legs.
