    Taken on a walk yesterday in St. John's Newfoundland.

    Sony alpha 700, sigma 100-300 f4 zoom at f4, 1/250s, iso 400

    Lovely bird, nice perch. EXP good. Extremely noisy for ISO 400. I would suggest a pretty good crop from the rear and from below but the image quality looks poor so not sure that it could handle it. Not sure if IQ problems have arisen because of poor optimization skills or the camera (that I am totally unfamiliar with).

    Thanks Artie. Not the cameras fault but mine. The original was severely underexposed and the noise is a result of trying to make a photo out of the exposure error anyway. Should have just tossed it but I liked the pose.

    Hi Gene, At least you understand that it is vital to expose to the right and get the EXP correct in-camera...
