    Another shot from one of my first times out with the 500mm. Still one of my favorites, although I still want to be able to get one of them landing while facing me dead on. Patience I guess. :)

    Nikon d300s | 500 f/4 VR
    500mm | 1/2000" | f/4 | ISO 800
    Manual Exp.

    Beautiful capture, I would suggest a little more contrast would help, it appears just a tiny bit bright and pale to me. I would also see what effect a little more sharpening to the subject has.

    I like the landing pose with the one-footed splash. I'd love more room above, and the image needs some CCW rotation. The small piece of OOF vegetation touching the leg could be eliminated. The colours look good and I like the trailing water drops.
