Hi Ken - it is a pensive pose and the comp works well. Detail looks good too. Only nit is that I might darken the bg slightly if it were mine.

    Rachel,

Thanks for your comment which is greatly appreciated.

I did actually try to darken the BG a little but did not like it as much.

Great pose and lovely details in that fur. Love the way the monkey is looking directly at you. Your monkey is exposed perfectly. I do think the capture could benefit from the BG being burned slightly, esp b/c of the shadow.

    Hi Ken,
format of the frame is not mine , just like the content. Nicely processed , maybe darken the BG to make the baboon more standing out of the BG.
    Cheers Andreas

Just 2by 3 or 3by 2 , as you like . Or better as i like , original side ratio.

    Andreas,
As I understand it you would like more height, top or bottom?

Ken , i would like to see, does not matter what image, the original side ratio .
so if i have a vertical i would crop in vertical or horizontal , with a side ratio of 2by3.i would also accept a pano and prefer a side ratio of 3by 1.and i same cases a square with ratio of 1by1.
If i have a horizontal , then i would crop , if content allows or need cropping to vertical with the ratios as above.
This is all my personal choice.
