    Default Theme: Crested Bunting in Rain, another pose.

    Photographed on 17th August, 2012.Small thin branch of the perch on right side cloned.
    Rain drops in the BG; which are horizontal due to wind are selectively lightened in PS, NR applied to BG.

    ISO: 800, 1/500 @ F: 5.6.Evaluating metering.
    White balance: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 100-400.

    Love the pose, the hint of details in black and nice sweet background. What I like most is the horizontal rain, it really tell story of how strong the wind is, if looking at the bird alone I couldn't guess that the wind was very strong.

    Thanks for the comments.You can imagine the speed of the wind; the way the water droplets are deposited on his breast and crest.

    The rain is interesting; bird is sharp as is composition leaving good space around.
    A very "real" photograph showing colour as it would be ie not overdone

    Love the exposure, the BG is great, and the sideways rain tells a story.

    Loving the direction of the rain which is quite unique. Your bird seems to be handling the elements quite well. Interesting looking bird. Nice colors all around.
