    COMMON HAWK CUCKOO CALLING


    While driving one of us noticed this bird singing, we stopped to take a look, after a while it landed a few feet behind our car on this fence.
    Canon 7D with 400mm f5.6, 1/100 of a sec at f7.1, ISO 1000, EV+0.7.

    Hey, great calling pose and cool eye ring! beak sharp at 1/100 thats good.
    Perhaps need toning down a little to the left of perch but good as presented.

    Great dynamic shot. I would consider a bit of background NR and local sharpening on the head. Otherwise, nicely done!

    Excellent calling pose.I like the open mouth,nice details on bird and BG. Agree with Richard about toning down the bg.

    Great calling pose but the head definitely needs some more sharpening b/c it looks a tad soft.
