    Nice subject, great detail in the wings, sharp and a very nice tri-coloured background too. I'm wondering if it would look better with the perch toned down at touch..?

    I agree, it was in fact toned down but some more would be better.

    I really like the nice detail in the wings. I am not sure if this is ff or not, but I do wonder if a slight rotation to get 'fly more diagonal would be an improvement.
