Great evening last night at Nickerson as the winds were NW and the birds were very active. They are beginning to act like they will be leaving soon, which is a bit early. (The flies were horrendous and made concentrating challenging).

Wonderful shot. Lovely warm light, I really like wing position, and exposed very well.
    Well done.

Fantastic capture Grace. Love the open beak and wing position. The evening light added beauty in image.

Hi Grace, glad you achieved separation between the head and far wing, and just love the warm colours from the late light. I like the show of the red legs tucked in during flight.

This is all about the light.
I like the wing and incoming body position.
Nice BG sky with gradual change in color,

Grace, Light definitely makes this one special...Love the open beak, wing position and eye contact...looks like it helps to have a backup body with a light lens for such flight opportunities..

Lovely light and flight angle. Love the open beak. I might have been tempted to brighten the catchlight just a tad.
