    Frank:

I am not seeing an image. I have enclosed a link about how to post, hopefully this will help. If you are still having problems getting the image up, let one of the moderators know.

Frank - looks like you've got it figured out now. Was this cropped heavily?

    Frank:

A big welcome to BPN. A great place to learn and grow as a nature photographer.

The image gives a nice sense of speed from the slight panning effect, good catchlight in the eye, pleasant background.

The image quality is not terribly high, which is why Miguel asked about the crop I suspect.

It would be really helpful to add your lens/camera info as well as any post processing information. That would help us give you a better critique.

    Looking forward to more posts.

    Cheers

Thank you for the link, I will use it on the next post.
The Kingfisher was shot with the 1DIII and 400L 5.6 in Great Neck, NY.
The photo was lightened because my 9000 II always seems to printed a few shades darker than I see on my screen.

    Thanks again.
