    Default mom and youngster

Adult (landing) and juvenile (perched) kites. I liked this frame because it shows the contrast between adult and juvi feather pattern. The juveniles have yellow spots on their chest and rusty patterns on their back and forehead which makes them look more attractive and detailed. The adults are relatively simple and their plain white plumage lacks the pattern but they still have that distinct red eye. This is a frame straight out of the camera with no alterations so I decided to leave it as is and not clone the tip of the branch that has merged with the far wing...sometimes you feel good by being a purist

Glad to see juvi and adult in one frame with great details, BG, nice perch and light.
I also liked juvi's curious look and adult's landing pose. TFS

Hi Ari, superb IQ, and your overall comp is nicely balanced. Great landing pose from the adult, and I like Juvi looking back. Did I mention you have nailed the exposure and sharpness too.

What a stunning capture, Arash. The light is gorgeous and the birds perfectly exposed. Love the gorgeous BG and the green of the environment goes so well with the birds.

The word "stunning" seems to keep popping up. Let me repeat it. The adult landing in the gorgeous light would have been a stunner just by itself. The addition of the over-the-shoulder look of the youngster makes this one priceless, especially in HD.
