    Default Sunflower

I used a texture overlay on this lone sunflower. For the composition it was important to me to include the leaves, they added a nice flow to the image IMHO.

Denise, I think of you as the "Flower Whisperer" as you bring out the best in them! The deep colors and texture makes the foreground sepals and petals seem real enough to touch. Wonderful pale blue surrounding the flower and a I really like how the texture becomes a bit more coarse as it nears the edges. Just thinking a bit more room at the top?

Denise, I love the texture you added - it really makes the image.

As always , very impressive. You always seem to find the perfect texture or processing technique to compliment the original capture in a special way. An excellent skill to possess. I agree that the leaves were critical to the image.

I agree that the leaves are an important part of this image, not only for the flow, but also for the detail on some of them. Graceful flower and excellent processing.
