When I saw that I could not take photos in the harsh opposite sunlight, and Also Small Lens, I decided to go for some creativity,
    And here is the result.

Convert Into black and white, Darken, Highlights, lighten in Picasa. That it.

I like this, rather dramatic. The uniform colour throughout the image works very well, and the Flamingos stand out very well against it, well done

nicely done. Have you considered taking a little off the bottom and adding a bit to the top?

Art city! Pleasing and lovely. I might take some off the top and bottom so as to turn this into a "pano" crop? I'm fine with it as is, although many would argue for the elimination of so much "negative space"...

Creative it is! I like the concept of the image, and the flamingos are neatly aligned left to right. I would definitely crop some off the bottom, perhaps a bout half the space, to bring that line down to a "rules of third" placement. A bit of compression artefatcs surrounding the birds as posted. Well seen Bhavya!
