    This was taken at Jamaica bay's east pond.

    This was a rare instance that a very low angle produced a nice reflection.

    Very nice! Lovely light, sharp, nice low angle and reflection. I like the composition too.

    nice perspective, loved the background and the reflection.
    reducing the contrast a little bit and increasing the brightness a little bit might help :)

    Nice image, lovely colours, nice sharpness to the bird, the water still held at the end of the beak by water tension justs makes it a little more interesting for me.

    Beauty!! I love the bill touching the water, very cool. Beautiful greens and low angle / reflection. I have to admit that it took me a few seconds to realize the far leg is actually the foot...and for that reason I wish there was separation between the toes and water. Not an image killer by any means...

    James, excellent shot. that angle and clear reflection combination is wonderful. As you said, not always possible. Nice calm feel to the shot. Well composed and exposed. excellent timing.
