I hope this qualifies as a fence! This is the rear entrance to the Stephen D. Lee antebellum home. I love the post and railing. I used Nik Color Efex vintage look and HDR Efex 2 primarily to get this look. I added a vignette by hand but I also have the version without it. I also added some fog just in the URC to hide the trees a bit plus a little of the vignette. The reasons I didn't include the other post was that it had been knocked askew, leaning forward quite a bit, and I would have gotten more of the background that was not photogenic.

    Photo made with Oly OM-D.

Hi, Judy, this works perfectly for the theme I like the effect you got from the Nik filters.

Tons of character in this fence. I love the contrasting tones and texture between the living bushes and rusted metal. Edit: also noticed the small clumps of green at the base of the steps, a perfect compliment.

You achieved a great vintage look. The surrounding greenery very effectively frames the railing.

Thanks Nancy! I had to really "work the scene" to find this shot that I liked due to other structures, garbage cans, parked cars etc. It's right next to the Library. It was the home of Gen. Stephen D. Lee, a cousin of Robert E. Lee, and is the home of a small museum of Civil War era memorabilia.

An elegant fence! Great find. You captured the intricate details of this beauty. You did an excellent job in eliminating distracting elements, as I don't see any. The diagonal line created by the greenery creates a nice X with the diagonals of the railing. Well done.
